5th Annual Walk For Recovery
Date TBA

Boston Breaking The Cycle is holding its 5th annual Walk For Recovery to raise awareness about the need for substance abuse treatments as well as to celebrate the recovery process.  Food, fellowship, music, raffles, and entertainment will be provided.

Boston Breaking the Cycle is concerned about the destructive effects that substance abuse has on our adolescents and their families, and on society as a whole.  If we don’t do our part, this devastating disease will continue to pass from one generation to the next.  The cycle must be stopped.  Our purpose is to promote awareness that recovery works and to help secure treatment options for those in need.  Join us in taking responsibility to make an impact on “Breaking The Cycle”!

This is a family event including a kids area, clowns and face painting.
We are dog friendly (leashed).

Boston Breaking The Cycle is a 501[c]3 corporation and has supported the following programs in the past: Sober Dances, Sober cruise, National Recovery Walk in NY City, pilgrimage to Bill Wilson’s House in Vermont, Charlestown Recovery House, Granada House, Allston-Brighton Task Force, Recovery High School, Runner’s in Recovery marathon meetings, a weekly young people’s recovery meeting, the formation of a sober softball team that competes in a sober softball league, as well as many other groups committed to recovery.
